CHRISTMAS CAKES & CARDS

Deluxe Cakes $27     ⎈     Regular Cakes $20     ⎈     Cards $10/pkg.

As in previous years, during the months preceding the great 'Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord', Right to Life Christmas Cards and Campaign Life fruitcakes will be on sale in the vestibule after Saturday and Sunday Masses starting this weekend.  One of the most important fundraisers Campaign Life Catholic does each year, is the sale of the delicious Christmas cakes made by the Monks of Notre Dame Abbey.  This helps to continue the work for the unborn, the elderly and the disabled, supporting life at every stage. Sadly, this marks the last year the monks will be making the cakes as they are very labour intensive.  Enjoy one while you can!

The Shepherds’ Trust ensures our priests can live their retirement years with dignity. The Shepherds’ Trust collection will take place in all parishes in the Archdiocese NEXT weekend, November 16/17.  This fund does more than just support our priests in their twilight years;  it represents a very tangible gesture of thanks for the blessings we have received. Please find an envelope in this bulletin for your offering. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

St. Vincent De Paul Society
'Christmas Star Program': Starts Next Weekend

Once again, the St. Vincent De Paul Society will be displaying a Christmas Tree in our Church, with dangling stars. Each star represents a gift that  can be purchased for either a teen, (gift card), or family, (food gift card).  Please take a star, and return it, with the appropriate  gift card to one of our St. Vincent De Paul representatives, (donation box holders), after Masses, by Sunday, December 8th, 2019.

Gift cards can be purchased at any major department store or pharmacy.  Food gift cards can be purchased at all major grocery stores.

Thank you for giving to those in our community who are less fortunate!

A future for the Amazon, a future for all!

The Amazon is home to half of all the plants and animals in the world. It is also home to more than 30 million people, nearly 3 million of whom belong to 380 indigenous groups. Logging, industrial farming and mining companies threaten their way of life and their survival. Act now!

1) Sign the Solidarity Letter to defend the defenders - after mass next week;

2) Take the intergenerational pledge for our common home.

Change starts with each and every one of us.
