26 February 2023 – The First Sunday of Lent

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER - FRIDAY, MARCH 3rd

The World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement which brings Christians of many traditions together to observe a common day of prayer each year on the first Friday of March.

This recalls our Christian responsibility to be sensitive to the signs of the times so that we might bring a more authentically Christian dimension to the concerns of our world, our country, our community. The motto of the World Day of Prayer movement is Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action. Through our participation in the World Day of Prayer, we affirm that prayer and action are inseparable and that both have immeasurable influence on the world. COINS FOR LIFE 2023

None of us realised how quickly a "culture of death" (abortion, euthanasia etc.) would infiltrate our society - homes, schools, media, law , and government. Please take a Coins for Life box this week-end for your donations and pray that a "culture of life" can be restored.

Please return boxes on April 16th, 2023 - Divine Mercy Sunday.
