65 Bond St., Toronto
The pontifical charity, Aid to the Church in Need (ACN Canada), and the Archdiocese of Toronto invite all to participate in the Red Wednesday Prayer Vigil. This annual event intends to raise awareness about the alarming situation of persecuted Christians worldwide, to remember those who have perished as victims of their religious beliefs, and to pray for religious freedom. On Nov 16, St. Michael's Cathedral Basilica, among other important buildings, will be lit in red to symbolize the martyr's blood. Please remember there are many other ways to contribute to this day, such as wearing red and inviting others to do the same. Share your pictures of solidarity on social media channels with the hashtag #RedWednesday, or hold a fundraiser to help the affected communities.
