SHARELIFE SUNDAY – March 21/22

ShareLife Celebrates 50 years!

2026 marks 50 years since Archbishop Philip Pocock made the bold and compassionate decision to establish ShareLife. Building on a legacy of charitable giving in the Archdiocese of Toronto that stretches back to 1927, Archbishop Pocock launched ShareLife in 1976—an appeal rooted in the belief that every life matters, at every stage. Today, his vision lives on through more than 40 ShareLife-funded agencies providing unconditional care to people in need—regardless of religion, background, or circumstance and through people like you who make their work happen.

Our 2026 parish campaign goal is $78, 500.00.

To date we have raised $ 615.00.

Please give generously to the parish campaign - at the parish or through sharelife.org. Thank you!

HELP NOT HARM

Take Action to Support Bill C-218

You’re invited to visit HelpNotHarmCanada.ca where you can e-mail your Member of Parliament (MP), asking for their support of Bill C-218 (The Right to Recover Act), which would amend the Criminal Code to prevent Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) from being provided when mental illness is the sole underlying condition. Without this change, MAiD will be available for those suffering from mental illness alone beginning in March 2027. Chances are you know someone struggling with mental illness — a family member, friend, or colleague. As Catholics and Canadians, we are called to offer care, hope, and protection — not death — to those who are suffering and most vulnerable. Visit HelpNotHarmCanada.ca today and ask your MP to support Bill C-218.

Consecration of the Faithful to The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church

Wednesday, March 25th

As an act of authentic Catholic piety, Pope Francis, on March 22, 2023, invited Catholics to annually renew an act of consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary at the occasion of the Feast of the Annunciation of our Lord. In preparation, the parish will celebrate the Marian Triduum of the Annunciation of the Lord at the daily Masses of March 21st, 23rd and 24th. The Consecration will take place after 9:05 am Mass on Wednesday, March 25th, The Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord. We pray for all in the parish and throughout the Church who will be consecrated to Mary, the Mother of the Church.
