WELCOMING JESUS INTO OUR HEARTS BY SHARING OUR BLESSINGS

ShareLife Logo

Today is Palm Sunday. In our Lenten observance, we have been called to welcome Jesus into our hearts. Let us follow His example of sacrifice by sharing with those who need our help the most. One way we can do so is by giving generously to ShareLife.

Last Sunday you gave $26,285 towards our goal of $58,000.

Thank you for your support and for living the Gospel by providing for those in need!

For those who wish to contribute to our parish campaign, you may donate with an envelope at Mass or online via the Archdiocesan parish website: https://stceciliasto.archtoronto.org/ OR at sharelife.org.

Thank you for sharing as you are able

As the long journey through Lent finally comes to an end and Easter dawns upon us, we can so quickly move onto the ordinary once again. There is new life found in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, and we are called into the light. Join in this retreat, as Fr. Michael Corpus (Vice-Rector at St. Augustine's Seminary and former intern seminarian of Blessed Trinity Parish) returns to share his wisdom on resisting the ordinary and striving for excellence in the Easter Season.

Parishioners of St. Cecilia as well as other parishes of the region are invited to attend this Regional Mass of Welcome for Archbishop Francis Leo. A reception will follow Mass in the Blessed Trinity parish hall. There is plenty of space. All are welcome!

REMINDER - COINS FOR LIFE

Please return Coins for Life Boxes on Sunday, April 16th (Divine Mercy Sunday).

ProLife groups rely on our generosity to support and promote the life of the unborn, people with disabilities, the elderly...all of us. Right to life is the first inalienable right which is being ignored and denied in our time.

On Divine Mercy Sunday, a spokesperson from Right to Life will be present after Masses to answer any questions you may have. Coffee and treats will be served in the Hall after Masses.

Holy Land Commissariat of Canada Pontifical Collection of Good Friday for the Benefit of the Holy Land

April 7, 2023

Each year on Good Friday, parishes are called to support Christians in the Holy Land. Many Christians in the Holy Land depend on the collection for their lives. As a Pontifical collection requested by Pope Francis, the annual Good Friday Collection helps to maintain not only the Holy Places above all, but also the pastoral, welfare, educational and social works that the Church carries out to the benefit of the Christian brothers and sisters and the local population.

The Daughters of Isabella and The Knights of Columbus would like to thank everyone who supported Coffee Sunday (and Saturday!) last weekend! See you next time!
