From the diary of Sister Faustina, the zealous messenger of the Merciful Jesus: On one occasion, I heard these words: My daughter, tell the whole world about My Inconceivable mercy...
My mercy is so great that no mind, be it of man or of angel, will be able to fathom it throughout all eternity. Everything that exists has come forth from the very depths of My most tender mercy. Every soul in its relation to Me will I contemplate My love and mercy throughout eternity. The Feast of Mercy emerged from My very depths of tenderness. It is My desire that it be solemnly celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter. Mankind will not have peace until it turns to the Fount of My Mercy. (Diary 699)

REMINDER - COINS FOR LIFE
Please return Coins for Life Boxes Sunday, May 4th.
ProLife groups rely on our generosity to support and promote the life of the unborn, the elderly, people with disabilities..all of us.
Sunday, May 4th is Coffee Sunday hosted by the Campaign Life Coalition. Thank you!
Thank you to our Altar Servers, Eucharistic Ministers, Readers, Ushers, Counters, ministry co-ordinators and all volunteers; in particular, Fionnan Kelly, and Nino Clivio who assisted during the Lenten season and throughout Holy Week and to Vietnamese Martyrs Parish servers, Anthony, Eric, Francis, Michael, and friends who served our parish so ably during the Triduum. Thank you to all who shared their gift of music during the Triduum. Special thanks to Peter Treen, Sean McNulty, and Lucy Trojanowski. We are grateful for Frances McKee, Barbara Mankowski, and Frank Spiteri, who worked tirelessly again this year, dedicating their time and efforts during Lent and Holy Week; ensuring that the church was kept liturgically accurate, and preparing all that was necessary for the Holy Week celebrations and service.

You ensure a brighter future for at-risk children
As many as 7,000 youth are homeless across Canada on any given night. Covenant House, an agency you support through ShareLife, provides a refuge for at-risk youth. They offer safe housing alongside healthcare, education, and employment guidance. Thanks to your compassionate heart, young people like David can move from a life on the street to a life with a future. David first found safety in the emergency shelter and later moved into a transitional housing program, where he formed a life-long bond with his mentor, whose kind heart and patient guidance inspired David to pursue and complete post-secondary education.
Thus far we have raised $32,619.90 towards our goal of $63,500.00. We invite you to share your blessings -either at the parish or at Sharelife.org/donate. Thank you for living the Gospel!
May 4th is ShareLife Sunday

POPE FRANCIS
December 17, 1936 - April 21, 2025
Our Catholic family worldwide is in mourning following the death of our spiritual father, Pope Francis. Since 2013, our shepherd has guided the flock lovingly and served as a global ambassador of peace, hope and love. The Holy Father’s humility, compassion and care for others, most especially the poor and marginalized, has served as a powerful witness and a reminder of our daily call to reflect the face of Jesus to all those whom we encounter.
I invite the faithful throughout the Archdiocese of Toronto and all those who mourn his loss, to pray for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis. May we honour his legacy and lovingly embrace his invitation to be missionaries of mercy, sharing the light of Christ in abundance as we affirm the dignity of every human life and foster a culture of care and love.
Our good and faithful servant has been called home to the Lord. May he rest in peace. - Frank Cardinal Leo, Metropolitan Archbishop of Toronto
