ST. CECILIA'S CHURCH

Come spend an evening at St. Cecilia's preparing for Christmas.
This mini-retreat, led by Father Jim and Fr. Juliwan will include Scripture reflection and Eucharistic Adoration.
There will also be 4 priests available for Confession.

NATONAL DAY OF PRAYER IN SOLIDARITY WITH INDIGENOUS PEOPLES
Monday December 12, 2022
The Canadian Catholic Indigenous Council, founded by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops in 1998 proposes December 12th, the Feast of our Lady of Guadalupe be a National Day of Solidarity with Indigenous Peoples. All are invited to join their indigenous sisters and brothers in a special way this day through prayer and acts of solidarity.
St. Vincent De Paul Society 'Christmas Star Program'
Starts Next Weekend
The St. Cecilia Conference of The St. Vincent De Paul Society will be running their Christmas Star Program beginning next weekend, November 26/27, 2022.
Please note a few important changes for this year: Please donate grocery cards ONLY.
Please include the dollar value of the card.
The tree may not be displayed next weekend, however, you may donate grocery gift cards to the programme beginning next weekend by:
-giving to an usher at Mass
-placing in the offertory collection basket
-dropping through the parish office mail slot at 161 Annette Street.

As in previous years, during the months preceding the great 'Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord', Right to Life Christmas Cards and Campaign Life fruitcakes will be on sale in the vestibule after Saturday and Sunday Masses. Please do not use your 2023 offertory envelopes until January 1st, 2023. Please print your full name, address, and phone number on the envelope, when making your first few 2023 donations. If making a larger donation to cover multiple Sundays, please use ONE envelope to make it easier for staff to record.
New envelope users/parishioners are asked to fill out a Parish Registration Form and return it to an usher to obtain offertory envelopes for 2023. Thank you!
