FIRST COMMUNION/RECONCILIATION PROGRAMME 2025-2026
We invite parents/guardians of children in grade 2 (or above) who wish to receive the Sacraments of First Communion and Reconciliation in 2026 to register for our sacramental preparation programme. If you have any questions prior to registering, please contact the parish office for assistance.
REGISTRATION OPENS: Wednesday, October 1, 2025
DEADLINE: Wednesday, November 5, 2025, or earlier if we reach capacity.

ALSO REQUIRED
1. A copy of your child's Baptism Certificate (if not baptised at St. Cecilia Church). You may email it to the parish office: stceciliatoronto@gmail.com or drop it off with the fee.
2. $50 programme fee. Payable by cash or cheque (made payable to: St. Cecilia's Church). This must be dropped off at the office located in the HOUSE at 161 Annette Street. Include the name of the sacrament and the child's full name with the fee, please.
PROGRAMME INFORMATION
The programme consists of Sunday Mass attendance and the following:
INITIAL MEETING for parents/guardians with children. Class night assigned. (Wed or Thurs.).
Sunday, November 9, 2025, after 11 a.m. Mass
FAMILY MEETING for parents/guardians with children. Books and schedule received.
Wednesday December 3 OR Thursday, December 4, 2025, 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
ENROLMENT CEREMONY
Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 11 a.m. Mass
CLASSES
Wednesday OR Thursday, 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. (from Jan 7/8 to April 22/23, 2026).
RECONCILIATION CEREMONY/RETREAT
Saturday, February 7, 2026, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
FIRST COMMUNION REHEARSAL
Thursday, April 30, 2026, 6 p.m.
FIRST COMMUNION CELEBRATION MASS
Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 2 p.m.
FEAST OF CORPUS CHRISTI procession and celebration in Hall with cake
Sunday, June 7, 2026, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
