Confirmation 2025-2026

We invite parent(s)/guardian(s) of children in grade 7 or 8 who wish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in 2026 to register for our sacramental preparation programme.

REGISTRATION OPENS: Wednesday, October 1, 2025
DEADLINE: Wednesday, November 26, 2025 (or earlier if capacity is reached).

Registration is open to parishioner families. Students from St. Cecilia and St. Rita who are not parishioners are most welcome to prepare here with a letter of permission from their pastor.

ALSO REQUIRED

1. A copy of your child's Baptism Certificate (if not baptised at St. Cecilia Church). You may email it to the parish office: stceciliatoronto@gmail.com

2. The $60 programme fee. Payable by cash or cheque (to St. Cecilia's Church). This must be dropped off at the parish office: 161 Annette Street - the HOUSE east of the Church. Please include the child's full name and indicate the Sacrament for which they are preparing.

For parent(s)/guardian(s) with their children. Resources and schedule will be distributed.

CLASSES
Tuesdays, 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (January 20 – April 7, 2026 – not every Tuesday)

FIRST CLASS
January 20, 2026.

ENROLMENT CEREMONY
Sunday, January 25, 2026, @ 11 a.m. Mass

RETREAT DAY
Saturday, March 7, 2026, in the Church Hall – 9:30-4 p.m.

CHAT WITH FATHER JOSEPH
Tuesday, April 7, 2026 - 7 p.m.

CONFIRMATION REHEARSAL and confessions, sponsors to attend\
Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 7:45 p.m.

CONFIRMATION CELEBRATION MASS
Friday, April 17, 2026, at 7 p.m.
