Mass in celebration of the Feast of St. Cecilia

Our parish will be hosting an informal  reception after the 7:00 p.m. Mass in our church Hall. Those who would like to make a monetary contribution to the celebration, are invited to make an offering using a St. Cecilia's Feast Day offertory envelope, available at the back of the church. For those who would like to contribute food items or assist with set-up for the reception, sign-up sheets can be found at the back of the church.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION AND CONFIRMATION


FIRST COMMUNION & CONFIRMATION REGISTRATION

There is still space available for our Confirmation and First Communion preparation programmes. Parents/legal guardians of children currently in Grade 2 or above who wish to receive First Communion in the Spring of 2025 and parishioner families with children in grade 7 or 8 who wish to celebrate Confirmation in the Spring of 2025 are asked to register for the relevant programme this week through our parish website: saintcecilia.ca

First Meeting - Sunday, Nov. 10th, after 11 a.m. Mass (in the Parish Hall).
Enrolment Ceremony - Sunday, Nov. 24th at 11 a.m. Mass.

LIVING WITH CHRIST MISSALS


Sunday, Dec 1st is the First Sunday of Advent.

Sunday Missals for 2024-2025 are available for purchase at the back of the church.

The price for adult Missals is $5.00.

CHILDREN’S MISSALS are also available. The price for those is $10.

The mission of The Shepherds’ Trust is to raise awareness and collect funds so the elderly priests are provided with sufficient financial resources to lead a dignified life after many years of ministry.

The Trust supports the needs of retired clergy in the Archdiocese of Toronto who have served for many years. Through our support of The Shepherds’ Trust, the retired priests are given the dignity of adequate pensions, health care and other assistance in their golden years.
