24 Nov 2024 – Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe

Christ the King will restore all creation and restore his kingdom to the Father. The risen people of God will rejoice in a new heaven and a new earth. "There, with the whole of creation, freed from the corruption of sin and death, may we glorify you through Christ our Lord." (EP IV) Ordo

ST. CECILIA CATHOLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BATTERY COLLECTION DRIVE!

In support of their Eco Team, St. Cecilia Catholic Elementary School is hosting a Battery Collection Drive to help keep our environment clean and promote recycling! We invite all parishioners to participate by bringing in their dead batteries and dropping them off in the small collection tub located at the back of the church.

How You Can Help:
Drop off your dead batteries at the designated tub in the church vestibule.
Spread the word to friends and family—every battery counts!

The school is competing in a friendly competition, and the more batteries they collect, the better their chances of winning a prize! Your participation helps them reach their goal while also supporting an important eco-friendly initiative.

Let's work together as stewards of God’s creation!

Thank you for your support!

St. Vincent De Paul Society Christmas Star Program

The St. Cecilia Conference of The St. Vincent De Paul Society will be running their Christmas Star Program beginning next weekend, November 23/24.

To assist them, please donate grocery cards ONLY and include the Dollar value on the card. Our parish schools will be donating physical gifts.

A Christmas Tree is displayed to the right of the altar with dangling stars. Each star represents a gift card that may be purchased for a neighbour in need. Please take a star and return it with the gift card by:

-giving to an usher at Mass

-placing in the offertory collection basket

-dropping through the parish office mail slot at 161 Annette Street.

Please donate your cards by: Sunday, December 8th, 2024

Many in our community are experiencing strained budgets due to high food costs. Thank you for sharing with our neighbours who find themselves in need.
