LIVING WITH CHRIST MISSALS
Sunday, Dec 1st is the First Sunday of Advent.
Sunday Missals for 2024-2025 are available for purchase at the back of the church.
The price for adult Missals is $5.00.
CHILDREN’S MISSALS are also available. The price for those is $10.
St. Vincent De Paul Society Christmas Star Program
The St. Cecilia Conference of The St. Vincent De Paul Society will be running their Christmas Star Program beginning next weekend, November 23/24.
To assist them, please donate grocery cards ONLY and include the Dollar value on the card. Our parish schools will be donating physical gifts.
A Christmas Tree is displayed to the right of the altar with dangling stars. Each star represents a gift card that may be purchased for a neighbour in need. Please take a star and return it with the gift card by:
-giving to an usher at Mass
-placing in the offertory collection basket
-dropping through the parish office mail slot at 161 Annette Street.

As in previous years, during the months preceding the great 'Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord', Right to Life Christmas Cards and Campaign Life fruitcakes will be sold in the vestibule after Saturday and Sunday Masses this Advent season. Sales begin Dec 1st. Please purchase these items generously which support the Culture of Life in our society. On behalf of the Unborn, the Disabled and The Family, Thank you!

PRAYERS AND BEST WISHES FOR FRANK CARDINAL LEO
The faithful of the Archdiocese of Toronto offer our prayers and best wishes for the newest members of the College of Cardinals, including our chief shepherd, the Archbishop of Toronto, Frank Cardinal Leo. This weekend, Cardinal Leo is in Rome as one of the 21 new cardinals from around the world gathered with Pope Francis. Please pray for our new cardinal as he begins this important role of service to the Church. Regional Masses to celebrate Cardinal Leo and the beginning of the Jubilee Year will take place early in 2025. More details will be shared in the coming weeks.

JOURNEY THROUGH ADVENT
The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) presents an online weekly video series intended to help the faithful prepare for the Nativity of Our Lord by offering meaningful reflections on the Gospel readings during each of the four Sundays of Advent. The English videos, led by Most Rev. Francis Leo, will be released weekly and will be available on the CCCB website and on their YouTube channel as well as the website of the Archdiocese: archtoronto.org
