Volunteers are needed to help with this event.  Donations of Irish soda bread, scones and a variety of sandwiches and baked goods are requested for the reception.  Sign-up sheets are available at the back of the church.  Thank you for your support.

All Funds donated will go towards the costs of installing a Celtic Cross on the Grounds of St. Cecilia’s Church in memory of the Irish Community who built this beautiful church.

Pizza Sunday of Last Weekend!

Thank you to Tony, the Confirmandi,  St. Cecilia grade  8 students, and the rest of the  dedicated crew of helpers for their hard work  and success last weekend!  And thank you to all those who came out and supported the event!  $ 970.00 was raised for our Restoration Fund. Congrats to Verna B. who won $50.00 in the 50/50 draw!

Christmas Cards & Christmas Cakes

We wish to thank all those who supported our parish Pro-Life effort on behalf of Right to Life and Campaign Life Catholic.  Through your purchases and donations $484.00 was sent to Right to Life for the cards and $2,132.00 to Campaign Life Coalition for the delicious Christmas cakes and gift baskets. Thank you on behalf of the unborn, the elderly, and the disabled.  The sacredness of human life has to be protected for those who have no voice in every age and in every situation. The St. Cecilia’s Pro-Life Group

Throughout the year, Pro-Life initiatives take place, and we encourage individuals, and both the parishes of St. Cecilia and of the Vietnamese Martyrs  to promote these different events in our parishes.

Saint Vincent De Paul Society Christmas Star Program 2018

All our Society Members wish to express our sincerest gratitude to Father Joseph and especially to all parishioners of St. Cecilia’s for the great support given to our Christmas star initiativeYour generosity brought the spirit of Christmas to 17 families/households, including 11 teenagers and 35 children, as well as 37 single adults!  

CALLED TO SERVE

We are seeking altar servers to assist at Sunday Mass.  Are you a student in gr. 3 or above who has received the Sacrament of First Communion? You are eligible to serve at Mass! Training will be provided. Please contact the office or speak with Fr. Joseph for details.
