CATHOLIC EDUCATION WEEK

Publicly funded Catholic education is a call to service.

The theme for this year's Catholic Education Week is:

We are Many, We are One, informed by Romans 12.5:

We who are many are one body in Christ, and individually we are members, one of another

COINS FOR LIFE

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

The Coins for Life Collection this year totaled $1,200.

The parishioners of St. Cecilia responded so generously! Life is our first inalienable right. We cannot let this be ignored or denied. The unborn, the sick, the elderly and those living with disabilities rely on us to advocate for Life and not let society dismiss them as worthless.

LAY SPIRITUAL FORMATION: SHINING WITH JOY FOR THEIR MAKER

Saturday, June 3, 2023 - 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Virtual/St. Augustine’s Seminary

Our Maker is calling us. Let’s take our posts, shining with joy like the stars (Baruch 3:34). At times our hearts may break, our minds may break, people around us might be broken and bleeding. Let’s feel the Spirit rushing into the broken places, guiding us to truth. Our speaker, Dr. Mary Marrocco, completed her doctorate in Systematic Theology in 2000, specializing in patristic theology. A registered psychotherapist, she is founder of St. Mary of Egypt Refuge, and co-founder of St. Macrina Counselling Services, a faith-based professional counseling service with special outreach to those who have difficulty accessing counseling.
