Volunteers are needed to help with this event.  Donations of Irish soda bread, scones and a variety of sandwiches and baked goods are requested for the reception.  Sign-up sheets are available at the back of the church.  Thank you for your support.

All Funds donated will go towards the costs of installing a Celtic Cross on the Grounds of St. Cecilia’s Church in memory of the Irish Community who built this beautiful church.

First Friday Eucharistic Adoration

On the First Friday, our Parish celebrates Eucharistic Adoration immediately following the 9:05 a.m. Mass until 6:00 p.m.

Please consider taking time out this Friday, March 2nd, in prayer and worship of the Eucharist.  For those who would like to schedule an hour to ‘keep watch’, signup sheets for specific time slots, can be found at the back of the church.

Ash Wednesday
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6th, 2019

Distribution of Ashes

This is a universal day of fasting and of abstinence from meat.  The law of abstinence from meat binds those who are 14 and older; the law of fasting binds those from 18 to 59 years of age.  Parents and educators are reminded of their duty to introduce children gradually to the understanding and practice of penance.

COINS FOR LIFE 2019 CAMPAIGN LIFE COALITION

Thomas Cardinal Collins, Archbishop of Toronto has stated that, “The Coins for Life project is a most appropriate way to support the important pro-life efforts of Campaign Life Coalition.”

Boxes can be picked up at the back of the  church,  starting next weekend, and will be collected until Sunday, April 7th.  Make it a family project! Putting aside your small change can lead to a BIG change in our land!

2018 Donation Tax RECEIPTS

The donation receipts which were not picked up over the last two weekends will be sent via post to your address.  If you do not receive yours by mid-March,  please contact the office to have a duplicate receipt created for you.

We thank all those who make their sacrificial offering each week.  In particular we thank those who remember that church expenses don’t go away, and make up for missed offerings on the weekends when they are away! 

Please ensure to indicate the amount of your offering each week on your envelope, to ensure that you receive proper credit for your donation in this year of 2019!
