This is a universal day of fasting and of abstinence from meat.  The law of abstinence from meat binds those who are 14 and older; the law of fasting binds those from 18 to 59 years of age.  Parents and educators are reminded of their duty to introduce children gradually to the understanding and practice of penance.

Boxes can be picked up at the back of the  church,  starting next weekend, and will be collected until Sunday, April 7th.  Make it a family project! Putting aside your small change can lead to a BIG change in our land!

The donation receipts which were not picked up over the last two weekends will be sent via post to your address.  If you do not receive yours by mid-March,  please contact the office to have a duplicate receipt created for you.

We thank all those who make their sacrificial offering each week.  In particular we thank those who remember that church expenses don’t go away, and make up for missed offerings on the weekends when they are away!

Please ensure to indicate the amount of your offering each week on your envelope, to ensure that you receive proper credit for your donation in this year of 2019!
